Resolution authorizing the transfer of the 2014 Emergency Solutions Grant and the 2013-14 State Emergency Solutions Grant funding from Legal Action of Wisconsin to Community Advocates, Inc.
Analysis
This resolution would allow the transfer of the Legal Action of Wisconsin 2014 Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) award in the amount of $28,375 to Community Advocates, Inc. and also transfer Legal Action of Wisconsin 2013-14 State Emergency Solutions Grant funding in the amount of $18,392 to Community Advocates, Inc.

Whereas, Legal Action of Wisconsin Inc. has notified the Community Development Grants Administration of their decision not to accept the 2014 Emergency Solutions (ESG) Grant funding in the amount of $28,375, nor the 2013-14 State Emergency Solutions grant funding in the amount of $18,392; and

Whereas, CDGA staff met and it was recommended and agreed that the reallocation of Legal Action of Wisconsin funding would be awarded as follows:

2014 Emergency Solutions Grant
Community Advocates, Inc - $28,375
Activity: Housing Relocation & Stabilization Services - Rapid Re-Housing

2013-14 State Emergency Solutions Grant
Community Advocates, Inc - $18,392
Activity: HPP - Financial Services

; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, That the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee hereby approves the transfer of the Legal Action of Wisconsin funding and Shelter activity as stated above; and, be it

Further Resolved, That Community Advocates, Inc. shall submit budget and activity reports in amounts and according to any conditions approved by the Common Council and in accordance with File Number 74-92-5v, to the Community Development Grants Administration and the City Comptroller for review and approval; and, be it
