Analysis
Under current code provisions, whenever a license is revoked, no other application by any other party for the same license at the same premises shall be recommended for approval by the licensing committee for a period of 12 months following the date of revocation.  This ordinance provides that this restriction shall apply only when the "other party" has a financial relationship with the person whose license was revoked, including, but not limited to, membership in the same partnership, corporation, limited liability company or association.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1.  Section 85-13-6-b of the code is amended to read:
85-13.  Disqualification for License.
 
6.  WHEN REVOKED.
 
b.  Whenever a license is revoked, no other application by any other party >>who has a financial relationship with the person whose license was revoked, including, but not limited to membership in the same partnership, corporation, limited liability company or association,<< for the same license at the same premises shall be recommended for approval by the licensing committee for a period of 12 months following the date of revocation.
