Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay for the following: Part II, Section12 of Management Pay Plan; Milwaukee Building and Construction Trades Council (Dept. of Public Works); District Council 48, AFSCME, AFL-CIO Contract Administrator, Police Department and Library
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 009, add the title “Marketing and Public Relations Officer.”

Part 2. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 16, 2006 - July 30, 2006):

Under Salary Grade 012, add footnote "3/" to the title "Inspector of Police” and add footnote "3/" to read as follows: "3/ Appointment of Edward Liebrecht authorized at the eight step of Salary Grade 12."

Part 3. Section 5 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 18, 2006 - August 27, 2006):

Under Pay Range 406, add the following sentence to footnote 1/ “Effective September 5, 2006 through November 10, 2006 Paula Dorsey has been replaced by Kenneth Wischer as District Council 48 Contract Administrator and will not be paid at rates consistent with Pay Range 936.”

Part 4. Section 16a of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 18, 2006 - August 27, 2006):
