Body
Whereas, The plaintiff has filed a lawsuit alleging personal injury as a result of an incident occurring on August 29, 2003 in the area of North 2nd and West Chambers Street in the City of Milwaukee; and
Whereas, Claimed medical bills total approximately $7,595.00; and
Whereas; A settlement favorable to all parties has been reached; and
Whereas, The City Attorney recommends and the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee deems it expeditious and just to pay this verdict; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers be and are hereby authorized and directed to issue a City check in the amount of $8,000.00, payable to the client Trust Account of Attorney Thomas Molinaro, in full and final settlement of this claim, upon receipt of a release of claim, approved as to form and execution by the City Attorney, said amount to be charged to the Water Works Department Fund, Account No. 006300 Fund 0410 Org 6410 Program 2631 Subclass R643.
