Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to install new traffic control signals at the intersection of West Lapham Street and South Layton Boulevard.  The cost of this installation is estimated at $55,000.
 
Body
Whereas, It has been determined that traffic control signals are necessary at the intersection of West Lapham Street and South Layton Boulevard; and
 
Whereas, The total estimated cost of this installation is $55,000, which is being provided by funds from the 2003 Capital Budget; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to install a new traffic control signal at the intersection of West Lapham Street and South Layton Boulevard; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized and directed to create the appropriate Project/Grant Number for this installation as indicated:
