Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2002 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Salary Grade 007, add the title "Clinic Operations Manager."
Under Salary Grade 010, add footnote "3/" to the title "Public Debt Specialist" and add footnote "3/" to read as follows: "3/ appointment of Richard Li authorized at the ninth step of Salary Grade 10."
Part 2. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 24 – November 10, 2002):
Under Salary Grade 011, add the title "Chief Operations Officer."
Under Salary Grade 015, delete the title "Deputy Commissioner – Building Inspection."
Part 3. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 235, delete the title "Distribution Repair Worker I 5/" and add the title "Water Distribution Repair Worker I 5/."
Under Pay Range 250, delete the title "Field Investigator."
Under Pay Range 252, delete the titles "Distribution Repair Worker II 1/" and "Tapper" and add the titles "Water Distribution Repair Worker II 1/" and "Water Distribution Tapping Specialist."
Under Pay Range 254, add the title "Field Investigator."
Part 4. Section 5 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 435, in footnote "2/", delete reference to "Sandra Miller (DPW-Water)."
Part 5. Section 9 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 604, add the title "Landscape Designer 1/" and add the following footnote: "1/ The Landscape Designer is not eligible for "M" steps in Pay Range 604."
Part 6. Section 15 of ordinance File Number 010467 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2002 – December 23, 2001):
Under Pay Range 726, delete the sixth step biweekly rate of $1,422.99 and substitute the rate $1,442.99.
Part 7. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 8. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 24, 2002 (November 10, 2002).
The provisions of Part 6 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2002 (December 23, 2001):
The Provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 9. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 10. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
