Title
Substitute resolution to vacate a portion of the west leg of alley in the block bounded by West Bluemound Road, West St. Paul Avenue, North 93rd Street and North 92nd Street, in the 16th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute resolution vacates the above portion of alley in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 66.297(1), Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. Martin Luther Lutheran Church requested this vacation to allow for expansion of the existing church facility.
Body
Whereas, It is proposed that a portion of the west leg of alley in the block bounded by West Bluemound Road, West St. Paul Avenue, North 93rd Street and North 92nd Street be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 66.297, Wisconsin Statutes; and

Whereas, The Department of Public Works has been authorized and directed to prepare a coordinated report estimating all costs and benefit assessments that will be incurred with said vacation; and

Whereas, Said vacation has been reviewed in accordance with Section 81-308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that said portion of alley as indicated by Exhibit A and bound and described by:

All that part of the alley as presently laid out in Block 1 of Blue Mound Terrace, a recorded subdivision, in the Southeast 1/4 of Section 29, Township 7 North, Range 21 East, lying westerly of a line described as follows:

Commencing at the Southwest corner of Lot 12 in said Block 1; thence Southerly, as measured normal to the south line of Lot 12, to a point in the north line of Lot 7 in said Block 1 and the point of termination of said line, is vacated; and, be it
