Title

Analysis
This ordinance provides that, to eliminate a potential source of rodent harborage, visual blight and fuel for fires, furniture designed or manufactured for indoor use, including, but not limited to, upholstered furniture, left exposed in an outdoor area, including unenclosed porches, shall be included in the bulky waste category of solid waste in s. 79-1-12-a. In addition, s. 79-12 is amended to provide for the prohibition of littering on a premise by the depositing of solid waste, which will prohibit the leaving exposed in an outdoor area, including an unenclosed porch, furniture designed or manufactured for indoor use, including upholstered furniture.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 79-1-12-a of the code is amended to read:
79-1. Definitions.
12. SOLID WASTE consists of the following categories:
a. Bulky Waste is discarded articles of such dimension as are not normally collected with domestic waste including, but not limited to, items such as [[furniture, appliances and stoves.]] >>appliances, stoves and furniture designed or manufactured for indoor use, including, but not limited to, upholstered furniture, left exposed in an outdoor area, including unenclosed porches.<
