Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works and Comptroller to execute a Project Agreement with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the preliminary engineering and design, equipment purchase and installation, and participating construction for Phase 1 of a public bike sharing system using Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality program funds for projects in various Aldermanic Districts. The agreement provides 80% Federal funding and 20% local cost sharing for the preliminary engineering and design, equipment purchase and installation, and participating construction to implement Phase 1 of a public bike sharing system.
