ANLS:
- ANALYSIS - This resolution approves a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City of Milwaukee and the Forest County Potawatomi Indian Tribe. A new parking structure has been built by the Tribe to accommodate the expected increase in demand for parking. Currently, the only access to the structure is from West Pittsburgh Street, a dead end road. The MOU stipulates that the Tribe will acquire right-of-way, design an extension of Pittsburgh to West Canal Street, construct it and pay all costs. The City will accept the street when completed and assume responsibility for its maintenance. In addition, the City will process a vacation application for the existing public portions of Pittsburgh and South 16th Streets which abut the casino.
