Substitute resolution relative to legislative bills.

Whereas, The Judiciary and Legislation Committee of the Common Council has recommended the following position on the bills hereinafter listed and the Common Council being advised of said matters; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby opposes the following legislative bills and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to oppose these bills and use its best endeavors to have them not enacted into law, viz:
SB-263 Challenging an elector's registration during recount proceedings.
SB-266 The procedure for recounting ballots when electors voting in person are required to sign the poll list and fail to do so.
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it hereby approves the following legislative bill and instructs the Division of Intergovernmental Relations to appear before the proper committees to support such bill and use its best endeavors to have the same enacted into law, viz:
SB-262 Labeling of duplicate ballots.
