Mr. Jarosz moved to grant a certificate of appropriateness for the demolition of the garage, seconded by Ms. Balon, with the criteria set by staff. There were no objections.
Mr. Jarosz moved to grant a certificate of appropriateness for construction of a new garage with a frieze board at the top of the wall of the garage and with the details presented in the PowerPoint presentation at the 9/20 meeting with the detail to hang the gutter properly, seconded by Ms. Nemec. The owner, Dennis Boom, present.
Mr Jarosz moved, seconded by Ms. Nemec, to hold both the demolition of the garage and approval of the new structure in order to have a survey completed, ensure proper placement of the garage with code requirements, as well the changing of the half-round gutter to a box gutter, possible addition of a window to the south side, height of the fascia and possibly larger overhangs or symmetry with the overhangs for the building. There were no objections.
