Four members of 350.org Milwaukee met recently with architects at Eppstein Uhen, one of the 
firms designing the Bucks complex.  We were encouraged by their willingness to discuss how 
we might successfully advocate for solar power above and beyond the meager 100 kw. in the 
Bucks’ current plans.  If it’s too late to redesign the arena, there may well be openings for 
additional solar elsewhere in the multi-block complex. 
 
We hope you can support our effort by attending a free forum this evening (Thurs.), 6:00 PM at 
Turner Hall, sponsored by the Journal Sentinel.  The Bucks management, their architects, and 
several commentators will discuss the new arena and answer questions pre-submitted by the 
public.  We are contacting the panelists in advance to alert them to our concerns.
