Title
A substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Single-Family Residential to Local Business on a portion of excess highway lands, located on the south side of West Layton Avenue, west of Interstate I-94, for future commercial development, in the 13th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This zoning change was initiated by the City of Milwaukee and will allow for future commercial development on the site consistent with the zoning on the north side of West Layton Avenue.

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-601.2.0040. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for that part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 30, Township 6 North, Range 22 East, in the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, described as follows: Commence at the north 1/4 corner of said Section; run thence South 89°28'23" Eeast 87.00 feet along the north line of said Section; thence South 00°42'52" West 60.00 feet to the south line of Layton Avenue and the easterly line of South 20th Street, to the point of beginning of this description; run thence South 89°28'23" East 420.00 feet along the south line of Layton Avenue; thence South 84°49'51" East 197.61 feet to a point located 76.00 feet south of, as measured normal to, the north line of said Section; thence South 89°28'23" East 108.00 feet, parallel with the north line of said Section; thence South 03°45'50" East 814.67 feet to the south property line of the owner; thence North 44°00'46" West 71.00 feet along the south property line of the owner; thence North 68°02'10" West 560.16 feet along the south property line of the owner; thence North 89°28'49" West 243.58 feet to the easterly line of South 20th Street; thence North 00°42'26" East 25.11 feet along said eas...
