Body
Whereas, the Authority issued an Invitation for Bid for landscape maintenance services in the Menomonee Valley Industrial Center and Community Park on February 7, 2024, and received two responses deemed responsive; and
Whereas Staff conducted an in-depth review of the bids received and determined the lowest responsible and responsive bidder, in accordance to the specifications, was SJ Landscaping LLC, a City certified Small Business Enterprise; and
Whereas, the Authority’s Bid Committee met, made the recommendation to the Executive Director to award the contract to SJ Landscaping LLC, and the Executive Director approved the award; and
Whereas, funding for these services will be provided from the Stormwater Management Facility Maintenance Agreement funds; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee that the proper officials of the Authority are authorized and directed to enter into a contract for landscape maintenance services in the Menomonee Valley Industrial Center and Community Park pursuant to the statements made herein.
