Analysis
This resolution authorizes and directs the Commissioner of Public Works to execute project agreements with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation for the programming and design of four and construction of three local arterial Streets with 80 percent Federal and/or State aid under the Surface Transportation Program. This resolution also directs the City of Milwaukee Comptroller to transfer funds and establish project/grant chartfield values for the preliminary engineering for these projects. The estimated total cost of the projects is $6,742,000, of which the City’s share is $1,348,400 and the grantor share is $5,393,600. The estimated preliminary engineering cost for these projects is $1,717,000, of which the City’s share is $343,400 and the grantor share is $1,373,600. Construction funds for these projects will be included in future resolutions.
