Resolution approving a Fourth Amendment to the Law Enforcement Special Assignment Grant Agreement for the Bradley Center.

Analysis
This resolution approves a Fourth Amendment to the Law Enforcement Special Assignment Grant Agreement between the City and the Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corporation to extend that agreement for an additional two years.

Body
Whereas, The City, acting through its Chief of Police, and the Bradley Center Sports and Entertainment Corporation entered into a July 1, 2002 Law Enforcement Special Assignment Grant Agreement authorized pursuant to Common Council File No. 011573 adopted April 23, 2002; and

Whereas, The term of that agreement expired on September 30, 2003; and

Whereas, The parties entered into an amendment to that agreement extending the term to September 30, 2005, as authorized pursuant to Common Council File No. 031132 adopted December 19, 2003; and

Whereas, The parties entered into a second amendment to that agreement extending the term to September 30, 2007, as authorized pursuant to Common Council File No. 050999 adopted January 13, 2006: and

Whereas, The parties entered into a third amendment to that agreement extending the term to September 30, 2009, as authorized pursuant to Common Council File No. 071323 adopted February 5, 2008; and

Whereas, The parties desire to further extend the term of that agreement for an additional two year period ending on September 30, 2011: now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Fourth Amendment to the Law Enforcement Special Assignment Grant Agreement to extend the agreement for an additional two years is approved and that the Chief of Police is authorized to extend the agreement on behalf of the City of Milwaukee; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
