Analysis

This motion denies the food dealer license application of Lachell Evans for the premises at 2222 W. North Avenue (“Topnotch”).

Body

Lachell Evans applied for a food dealer license from the City of Milwaukee on March 23, 2009; and

 

Whereas, The Health Department received an objection from Ald. Willie Hines, Jr. for a food dealer license for Lachell Evans for the premises at 2222 W. North Avenue doing business as "Topnotch" in the 15th Aldermanic District; and

 

The Common Council's Licenses Committee held an evidentiary hearing on the application on May 29, 2009; and

 

The Committee heard aldermanic testimony in opposition to the license and the applicant did not appear at the meeting; now, therefore,

 

It is moved, by the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the food dealer license application of Lachell Evans for the premises at 2222 W. North Avenue in the 15th Aldermanic District ("Topnotch ") be denied.
