Title

Resolution relative to application for a Public Library Innovation Grant.

 

Analysis

This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Public Library to apply for a Public Library Innovation Grant from the International City/County Management Association.  The purpose of the grant is to create a year-round reading program to improve student reading, and increase awareness and use of the library.

 

Body

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee appears to be eligible for grant funds from the International City/County Management Association; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that application to the International City/County Management Association is authorized.
