Analysis
This resolution grants a special privilege to Peter Sandoni for a storm enclosure in the public right-of-way for the premises at 125 East National Avenue.
Body
Whereas, The applicant desires to construct and maintain a storm enclosure at the premises at 125 East National Avenue; and

Whereas, Said storm enclosure may only legally encroach into the public right-of-way by granting of a special privilege resolution adopted by the Common Council; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that Peter Sandoni, 125 East National Avenue, Milwaukee, WI 53204 is hereby granted the following special privilege:

To construct and maintain a 8-foot 7-inch wide storm enclosure projecting up to 3 feet into the 9-foot wide south sidewalk area of East National Avenue. Said storm enclosure is centered approximately 120 feet east of the eastline of South 1st Street.

Said storm enclosure shall be used, kept and maintained to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Said storm enclosure shall be maintained or removed from the public right-of-way, at such future time as they are no longer needed, to the satisfaction of the Commissioners of Public Works and Department of Neighborhood Services.

Further Resolved, That this special privilege is granted only on condition that by acceptance of this special privilege the grantee, Peter Sandoni, shall:

1. Become primarily liable for damages to persons or property by reason of the granting of this special privilege.

2. File with the City Clerk a bond of a surety company duly incorporated in the State of Wisconsin, or duly licensed to do business in th...
