Whereas, The U.S.-Indonesia Midwest Business Forum will take place June 4, 2014, in Milwaukee; and
Whereas, The U.S.-Indonesia Midwest Business Forum provides opportunities for Indonesian government officials and Midwest business executives to meet in person and further develop beneficial business relationships between the United States and Indonesia; and
Whereas, The forum will include representatives from various U.S. and Indonesian business sectors, including manufacturing, agriculture, food, energy, science, technology and water technology infrastructure industries; and
Whereas, The Consulate General of the Republic of Indonesia, in collaboration with the Metropolitan Milwaukee Association of Commerce and the City of Milwaukee is sponsoring this event; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, the Consulate General of Indonesia is granted authority to use the City of Milwaukee logo for the purpose of promoting the U.S. - Indonesia Midwest Business Forum to be held in Milwaukee on June 4, 2014.
