Analysis
This ordinance restores 3 sentences of the code that were inadvertently omitted when s. 100-50-3 and 4 was repealed and recreated by passage of Common Council File Number 130903 on November 26, 2013.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1.  Section 100-50-3-f of the code is created to read:
 
100-50. Public Passenger Vehicle Permits.
 
3.  ELIGIBILITY, TAXICABS.
 
f. Notwithstanding the limitations in subs. 4-a-3 and 13, a new public passenger vehicle permit may be issued upon surrender of an existing permit to the city clerk and either an application by the permittee to change his or her legal form of business or upon application of a permitttee to transfer the permit to another person.
