Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2008 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:
Department of City Development and Police Department, Department of Public Works-Water Works

Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 070604 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Salary Grade 005, delete the title “Printing and Stores Supervisor” and add the title “Printing, Stores, and Building Services Supervisor.”

Under Salary Grade 006, add the title “Water Customer Service Supervisor.”

Part 2. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 070604 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2008 - December 30, 2007):

Delete footnote 8/ under Pay Range 540 in its entirety and substitute therefor the following:

8/ Effective Pay Period 4, 2005, the position held by Vaughn Brooks (DER), shall be paid the following biweekly rates (updated effective Pay Period 1, 2006):
1,368.15 1,410.63 1,454.42 1,499.61 1,546.14 1,594.16
1,643.66 1,694.68 1,747.33 1,801.61 1,857.54 1,915.23
She shall continue to receive an increment on their salary anniversary date, if not at the maximum, and shall receive future AFSCME across the board wage increases as long as she remains in that position.

Part 3. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 070604 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:

Under Pay Range 555, add the title “Administrative Services Coordinator.”

Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
