Analysis

This resolution grants the appeal of the Brewery Project, LLC of the Historic Preservation Commission’s decision denying demolition of 1027 W. McKinley, Building 11 of the Pabst Brewery Historic District.

Body

Whereas, The Historic Preservation Commission, at its meeting of April 16, 2007, denied the request of the Brewery Project, LLC to demolish Building #11 in the Pabst Brewery Historic District; and

 

Whereas, The Brewery Project, LLC, appealed this decision to the Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee; and

 

Whereas, The Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee heard the appeal of the Brewery Project, LLC of this decision at its meeting of June 12, 2007; and

 

Whereas, The Committee granted the appeal of the Brewery Project, LLC of the Historic Preservation Commission's action denying demolition of 1027 W. McKinley, Building 11 of the Pabst Brewery Historic District; now, therefore, be it

 

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Brewery Project LLC’s appeal of the Historic Preservation Commission's action denying demolition of 1027 W. McKinley, Building 11 of the Pabst Brewery Historic District is granted.
