Minutes note: The court reporter was sworn in. The question was put: Have the members of the Common Council read the Report and Recommendations of the Licenses Committee in this matter? All members indicated that they had done so. The question was put: Is Sewak Singh or his counsel present and, if so, does either wish to address the Council? Mr. Sewak Singh is present. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Common Council enter the Committee of the Whole for the purpose of taking testimony with respect to this matter. There was no objection. Mr. Sewak Singh appeared and addressed the Common Council. Assistant City Attorney Bruce Schrimpf appeared on behalf of the office of the City Attorney. Ald. Witkowiak moved that the Committee of the Whole rise. There was no objection. The question was put: Are there any motions relating to these matters? Ald. D'Amato and Ald.
