Title

Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial-Light to Local Business, on land located on the South Side of West Capitol Drive and East of North 2nd Street, in the 6th Aldermanic District.

Analysis

This substitute ordinance was initiated by the owner, Mike Goldberg, to allow for existing and future retail use of the site.

Body

Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:

 

Section 295-601.2.0027. The zoning map is amended to change the zoning for the area bounded and described by the zoning line within East Capitol Drive, the centerline of North 2nd Street, a line 60 feet South and parallel to the south line of West Capitol Drive, and a line 127 feet East and parallel to the east line of North 2nd Street, from Industrial-Light (IL2) to Local Business (LB2).
