Body
Whereas, The Historic Preservation Commission at its August 9, 2004 meeting denied the request for a certificate of appropriateness for the building of stone walls at 3201 N. Lake Dr.; and
Whereas, The homeowners at 3201 N. Lake Dr., on September 9, 2004, filed an appeal of this denial; and
Whereas, The Zoning, Neighborhoods and Development Committee reviewed this decision at its April 4, 2008 meeting; and
Whereas, The stone walls were built and the local alderman’s office has received no complaints relative to said walls; and
Whereas, The Department of City Development no longer recommends denial of this certificate of appropriateness; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the appeal is granted of the Historic Preservation Commission’s denial of a certificate of appropriateness for stone walls at 3201 N. Lake Drive.
