Analysis
This resolution directs the Department of City Development to prepare a resolution to vacate said portion of alley in accordance with vacation proceedings under power granted to the City of Milwaukee by Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes, and Section 308-28, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances. This vacation was requested by the Milwaukee Department of Public Works as part of a project by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation to make improvements to the intersection of West Hampton Avenue and North Lovers Lane Road/North Mayfair Road.

Whereas, It has been proposed by the Department of City Development that a portion of the alley in the block bounded by West Hampton Avenue, West Jeffrey Court, North Lovers Lane Road and North 110th Street be vacated pursuant to the provisions of Section 62.73, Wisconsin Statutes; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Department of City Development is directed to prepare a resolution to vacate said portion of alley in accordance with Section 308-28 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances.
