Analysis
This ordinance establishes that unless a specific date is provided by law for the expiration of a term of office, any person appointed to fill a vacancy on a board, commission or committee shall be appointed to a full term of office.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 320-4.5 of the code is created to read:
320-4.5. Expiration of Term. Unless a specific date is provided by law for the expiration of a term of office, any person appointed to fill a vacancy on a board, commission or committee shall be appointed to a full term of office.
