Bauman moved to amend the resolution by inserting "and, be it" at the end of the "Resolved" clause and the following "Further Resolved" clause after the "Resolved" clause: Further Resolved, That, notwithstanding any provision of the Land Disposition Report requiring a 30-foot setback along North 27th Street, no setback shall be required along this street other than the standard setback specified in the City's Zoning Code. Title
Substitute resolution approving the Land Disposition Report conveying the Redevelopment Authority property at 2601 West Wisconsin Avenue to WIS27, LLC, for office development, in the 4th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This resolution will permit the Redevelopment Authority to convey said land according to the conditions in a Land Disposition Report.
Body
Whereas, WIS27, LLC, has offered to purchase the property at 2601 West Wisconsin Avenue from the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Milwaukee ("Authority") for office development; and
 
Whereas, On March 15, 2012, the Authority held a Public Hearing on the proposed
conveyance as required by Wisconsin Statutes; and
 
Whereas, Pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes and as a condition precedent to the sale, lease or transfer of land, the Authority submits herewith a Land Disposition Report, a copy of which is attached to this Common Council File, describing the terms and conditions of the proposed sale; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Land Disposition
Report dated March 15, 2012, with respect to the proposed sale of the following property is approved:

Avenues West/27th and Wisconsin
 
PARCEL ADDRESS
 
2601 West Wisconsin Avenue
 
REDEVELOPER

; and, be it
