Title
Resolution relating to the African American Male Unemployment Task Force.
Analysis
The African-American Male Unemployment Task Force was created by Resolution File Number 100118, adopted July 7, 2010, which directed that the task force complete its work within 6 months after its first meeting and thereafter be dissolved. Resolution File Number 101127, adopted February 8, 2011, extended the time that the task force submit its findings and recommendations to the Common Council 6 months to September 14, 2011. Resolution File Number 101335, adopted March 1, 2011, established the method for filling vacancies of the task force. Resolution File Number 110259 suspended the activities of the task force until October 1, 2012, and changed the time period in which the task force is to submit its findings and recommendations to the Common Council to October 1, 2013, after which time the task force shall be dissolved.
This resolution reactivates the activities of the task force and amends Resolution File Number 100118 by adding one member to the task force.
